Kokushi Corporation reports 98.2% placement continuity for the FY2026 interim period
Continuity remains the Group’s principal measure of colleague wellbeing.

TOKYO, 30 September 2026 — Kokushi Corporation today reported placement continuity of 98.2% for the first half of fiscal 2026, the highest interim figure in the Group’s history.
Placement continuity measures the proportion of colleagues who remain in their assigned role, residence and household arrangement throughout the reporting period. The figure includes colleagues currently undergoing reassignment, who are considered continuously placed for the duration of the process.
“Continuity is not a number we pursue. It is a condition we maintain,” said Chairman Haruo Shimizu. “Our colleagues do not leave Kokushi. Their circumstances are simply brought into alignment.”
Voluntary participation across all Group programmes reached 100% for the third consecutive quarter. Unplanned absence fell by 41% following the wider introduction of predictive absence planning.
The remaining 1.8% of placements are under ordinary review. Households affected by review have been informed where appropriate.
