Pacific Leisure FM extends broadcast hours to all residential floors
Approved background audio is now available twenty-four hours a day in every Kokushi residence.

TOKYO, 18 September 2026 — From 1 October, Pacific Leisure FM 82.11 will broadcast continuously to all residential floors and integrated settlements, extending the station’s service beyond working hours for the first time.
Since 1979, Pacific Leisure FM has provided Kokushi workplaces with calm, approved music selected to support concentration, rest and household harmony. Colleagues have consistently asked for the service to continue after the working day ends.
“Listening is how a community stays in tune,” said a spokesperson for Recreation Services. “Now our colleagues and their families can share the same programme at home, at work and in between.”
Receivers will be fitted in residences that do not yet have one. As a safety measure, receivers cannot be switched off. Volume may be adjusted within approved limits.
Colleagues are reminded that Pacific Leisure FM is the only audio service permitted in Kokushi residences.
