First Generation II cohort completes orientation at the Family Development Annex
212 colleagues raised within the Annex join the workforce this autumn.

TOKYO, 1 September 2026 — The first Generation II cohort has completed orientation at the Family Development Annex and will take up assigned roles across the Group this autumn.
Generation II colleagues have been raised from birth within the Annex to the standards of the roles they will hold. Each arrives already familiar with Kokushi procedures, values and colleagues.
“They know exactly where they belong,” said a representative of Human Continuity. “There has been no settling-in period. There has been nothing to settle.”
Orientation results were uniform across the cohort. Supervisors describe Generation II colleagues as punctual, consistent and remarkably alike.
Applications for Generation III places are not accepted. Places are allocated.
