Voluntary recall: employee badge series 4400–4420
Affected colleagues need take no action. Replacement is automatic.
TOKYO, 14 August 2026 — Kokushi Corporation is voluntarily recalling employee identification badges in the series 4400 to 4420, following a routine review of badge reader records.
A small number of badges in this series have been found to report a colleague as present after the colleague has left the building, or as departed while the colleague remains on site. There is no risk to colleague safety.
Affected colleagues need take no action. Replacement badges will be issued automatically, and existing badges will cease to function once replacement is complete. Colleagues may notice no difference.
Badge 4417 is not part of this recall. Its record has already been reconciled.
